BY-EFP-HDMI606 is Fiber Optic Camera Back Adapter & Base Station System (EFP/OB Van Studio System). It is designed to convert any standard 4K professional camcorder or broadcast camera into a full-featured, fiber-connected studio camera over a single long-range SMPTE 304 Hybrid Optical Cable (which handles both bi-directional signals and power delivery)

• Features an HDMI 1.4 Input/Output channel (ideal for standard 4K30p or 1080p monitoring and feeds).
  
• Supports dual 12G-SDI Inputs/Outputs to send uncompressed, high-framerate 4K broadcast video from the camera to the control room.
  
• Includes a 12G-SDI Return path (SDI OUT on camera side), allowing the camera operator to view the live program feed or return video from the switcher.

•  Intercom: Equipped with a 5-pin XLR headset jack on the camera adapter converting to a 4-wire 3-pin XLR connection at the base station for production crew communication.
  
• Tally & Sync: Pass-through for live Tally light indicators and BB/TC (Black Burst / Timecode) for precise multi-camera genlock and sync.
  
• Remote Camera Control: Bi-directional transmission for both LANC (typically used for Sony/Canon tripod remotes) and RS422 serial control protocols.

• The Camera Adapter mounts seamlessly onto the back of a camera via a standard V-mount plate.
  
• Includes dual D-tap DC outputs to power the camera body and local accessories (like monitors or wireless transmitters).
  
• The Base Station plugs into standard 90~220V AC mains and sends power down the SMPTE 304 hybrid fiber line to completely power the remote camera rig without needing local batteries.

This system acts as a heavy-duty umbilical cord for field production. It consolidates 4K video, return feeds, intercom, tally, genlock, remote control, and power into one robust SMPTE hybrid fiber cable, allowing a handheld 4K camcorder to operate seamlessly as a high-end studio camera over massive distances.
